Dear Dr. Hieu,
 
Thank you for taking the time to talk to me this afternoon.  As I mentioned on the phone, the Chicago Civic Leadership Certificate Program (CCLCP) at UIC is currently accepting RFPs for community partners. 
 
CCLCP is an innovative program that combines academic learning with civic engagement.  This year, we will place 46 incoming first-year students in year-long partnerships with local not-for-profit organizations.  These students complete their academic writing classes on campus while working approximately two hours a week to produce documents and research of real value to their community partners.
 
We are currently seeking community partners for this year's group of students.  Attached, please find an RFP detailing the CCLCP program for your review.
