President George W. Bush signed S.J. RES. #366 (which became Public Law 101-473), designating March 30 as "National Doctors Day."

Ngày Bác Sĩ Quốc Gia
Ngày 30 tháng 3 được chọn là Ngày Bác Sĩ Quốc Gia tại Hoa Kỳ. Đây là ngày để chúng ta cảm ơn các bác sĩ đã giúp chữa lành cho chúng ta với tấm lòng nhân ái của một lương y hiền tài.
Phong tục nầy được bắt đầu năm 1933 tại TP Atlanta (Winder Geogia), TB Georgia, Hoa Kỳ và được Quốc Hội Hạ Viện Hoa Kỳ công nhận năm 1958.
Ngày Bác Sĩ Quốc Gia (National Doctors Day) đã được Quốc Hội Thượng Viện và Hạ Viện công nhận năm 1990. Và vào ngày 30/10/1990, Tổng Thống Hoa Kỳ đã ký sắc lệnh ấn định ngày 30 tháng 3 mỗi năm là ngày "Ngày Bác Sĩ Quốc Gia" tại Hoa Kỳ ("National Doctors Day" in the United States of America).
