Ban Tổ Chức Liên Hội Á Kiều 2014 họp ngày 21 tháng 8 năm 2013 tại Khách sạn Hyatt Regency O Hare với quý vị Chủ tịch Cộng đồng Nhật Bản tại Chicago

 

Ban Tổ Chức Liên Hội Á Kiều 2014 họp ngày 21 tháng 8 năm 2013 tại Khách sạn Hyatt Regency O"Hare với quý vị Chủ tịch đại diện Cộng đồng Nhật Bản tại Chicago.

 

Buổi họp được bắt đầu lúc 7 giờ với sự tham dự của đại diện các cộng đồng Á kiều tại Chicago như Đại Hàn, Phi Luật Tân, Ấn Độ, Trung Hoa, Thái Lan, Nhật Bản, Việt Nam, v.v…

 

Sau phần trình bày và thảo luận về dự án AACC 2014, Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Trung Hiếu đã tường trình thành quả hoạt động của chương trình AACC 2013 với sự tham dự của trên 2 ngàn 700 qu‎‎í khách Á kiều và Hoa kỳ trong 7 chương trình sau đây:

 

1. Asian American Community Health Fair (700)

2. Asian American Conference on Education and Economy (450)

3. Mass of Thanksgiving (250)

4. Interfaith Prayers for World Peace and Prosperity (250 repeated number as #3)

5. Asian American Business and Cultural Exhibits (450 repeated number as #2)

6. Asian Lunar New Year Banquet (730@73 round tables|50@5 head tables|140@14 comp. tables)

7. “Dancing with the Vietnamese” Celebration (400)

 

Ngoài ra còn có sự tham dự của 377 ca sĩ, vũ công cùng thiện nguyện viên thuộc 11 tổ chức cộng đồng và tôn giáo khác nhau sau đây:

A BRIEF REPORT TO THE 2014 AACC PLANNING COMMITTEE

August 21, 2013 - Hyatt Regency O’Hare

 

Community Services

     The following community services were successfully carried out with the participation of more than 2700 Asian Americans and their guests:

1. Asian American Community Health Fair (700)

2. Asian American Conference on Education and Economy (450)

3. Mass of Thanksgiving (250)

4. Interfaith Prayers for World Peace and Prosperity (250 repeated number as #3)

5. Asian American Business and Cultural Exhibits (450 repeated number as #2)

6. Asian Lunar New Year Banquet (730@73 round tables|50@5 head tables|140@14 comp. tables)

7. “Dancing with the Vietnamese” Celebration (400)

 

Financial Report

     Eighteen (18) members of the Vietnamese Host Committee attended a meeting on June 8, 2013 to review the 2013 AACC Financial Report presented by Thomas Tran, Carter Mai, and Maria Tran. After paying all of the expenditure obligations, the 2013 AACC account has a balance of $233.95 (two hundred thirty three dollars and ninety five cents).

     In order to pay $2000 as membership contributions to the AACC Board of Directors, Nghia Sinh Intl, Inc. has donated $2000 to the 2013 AACC account.

 

Appreciative Note

     The Vietnamese Host Committee would like to thank the Asian American Coalition of Chicago, Asian American leaders and members of Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Pakistani, and Thai American communities for their generous supports and dedicated services.

     We also wish to thank 377 singers, dancers, performers and volunteers from the following organizations for their time, service, and a job well done:
